She brings twenty years in marketing, including agency work on Google, Amazon, Meta and Wayfair accounts, and three and a half years running healthcare and pharma marketing. That range spans Forbes Top 50 companies down to owner-operated local businesses, and the discipline it built is the same at both ends: work out what the business actually needs before deciding what to make.
Her focus at BKM is answer engine optimization — the work of getting a client named when buyers ask AI engines for recommendations — alongside paid media and growth strategy. Courtney holds a marketing degree from Bentley University.

Sometimes, and we can see more than we could a year ago.
If someone clicks straight from an AI platform to your website, that visit can usually be identified in your analytics or your CRM. The harder case is when AI shapes the decision without producing the click. Someone reads about you in an AI answer, searches your name later, and converts through that search instead. Google gets the credit.
That's why I wouldn't measure AEO on citations alone. I want to know whether you're being found and recommended, which pages are driving that, and whether the people who arrive turn into leads and revenue. Knowing an engine mentioned you is the starting point, not the answer.
