Happy, friendly, and outgoing. Life is too short … so you need to make the most of it.
Hosting a gathering with friends and family. It combines everything I love into one event - cooking, sharing good food and drink and spending time with people I care about. It is what life is all about.
Do not worry, stress, or beat yourself up over things you can not control. I was 19, working as a bank teller and the bank sponsored a motivational seminar. I have long forgotten the speaker’s name, but the message that was conveyed had a huge impact on how I interact with the world around me. The speech centered around realizing that while it is OK to make plans for and to be concerned about things outside of your control, it is counterproductive, to obsess over these things. For example, no matter how much you worry about the approaching storm - there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop it. The storm will come regardless so your time is better spent preparing for the storm - than worrying about the fact that it is coming. It is what it is and you need to make the best of it.
Grumpy people, traffic, and small glasses of wine. Life is too short to be unhappy, stuck in traffic, and drinking small glasses of wine (especially since large glasses were invented many years ago).
Hamburger - with 2 slices of American cheese, sauteed mushrooms and garlic, roasted red peppers, a small amount of catsup and two pieces of iceberg lettuce. Of course, it is not a meal without a large dill pickle and a side of tater tots or even better, onion rings.
